General Summary This position is responsible for procuring parts, supplies, services, andmaterials to ensure optimization through negotiation of best value agreements. Position will source locally, nationally and leverage existing supplier agreements. Essential Job Accountabilities 1. Use collaboration and communication skills to provide exceptional customer service to internal customer base. 2. Working under supervision; sources, purchases and arranges timely deliveries of assigned items, supplies, and materials to meet business needs. Act as liaison between suppliers and internal customers, expediting as needed, to ensure deadlines are met. 3. Convert purchase requisitions to purchase orders through current Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system to comply with the Companys procurement policy and procedures. 4. Utilize existing supplier agreements and negotiated discounts to yield lower costs and best value. 5. Assist in research and resolution of invoice and payment issues to ensure timely and accurate payment to suppliers. 6. Achieve, track and report cost savings to demonstrate positive return-on-investment to organization. 7.
