Sr. Procurement Associate Bethesda, MD This position supports the Director of Facilities Management in the daily operations of the organization. The Senior Procurement Associate will support the CFS (Construction Facilities Services) procurement group, overseeing the placing of orders for store supply, print, furniture and furnishings, as well as the purchase orders for the procurement of goods and services to support new store construction. The Senior Procurement Associate will support the Facilities Director in building partnerships to allow the company to invest in growth and people; while developing the lowest total cost solutions, inventory analysis to provide timely delivery of supplies and equipment to the stores. The Senior Associate will maintain procurement standards, budget reporting and quality guidelines, as well as, field questions from the stores related to supply and equipment orders. In addition, the position will assist with contract maintenance of a defined scope of CFS repair and maintenance issues, as well as, supporting special facilities and procurement projects as needed. This hands on candidate must be able to organize and prioritize multiple tasks, effectively manage through stressful situations, and consistently make effective, high quality decisions; must develop and to effectively manage team member and vendor relationships. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES• Daily verbal and written communication with store personnel, office personnel and suppliers.• Input / participate in the ordering and item level ordering and receiving process.• Review and ensure ordering format standards are met.• Ensure reporting standards are accurate• Assist to determine most cost-effective solutions using good mathematical/analytical skills • Insure accurate orders are delivered on time while exhibiting detailed orientation and strong follow through• Ensure timeframes are met and work is completed as required• Assists the facilities team in responding to internal customer related facilities issues in a timely manner JOB REQUIREMENTSMinimum Experience, Skills and Education:• 3-5 years' experience in retail purchasing or supply chain functions a plus• BA/BS degree • Detail oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills.• Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to interface with business partners and cross-functional teams.• Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize.• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and Outlook.
