Function Specific Activities:

The Procurement Finance team provides strategic leadership, analytical support, and process guidance on Coca-Cola North America’s Direct Materials purchases and indirect spending.  This position will be responsible for supporting the Procurement Commodity Directors, Managers, and Specialists in establishing the budget, analyzing monthly results, preparing monthly rolling estimates, analyzing and tracking productivity initiatives, as well as managing any related supplier and bottler purchase programs.

Position provides financial leadership in:

Annual Budget & Reporting Rolling Estimates Purchase Price Variance Analysis & Reporting Productivity Initiative Analysis & Reporting Process Standardization Performance Measurement

Individual must be able to operate well in ambiguous environment and will interact with Senior Management on a regular basis.


Assume an active role in the development of Annual Operating Budgets, Monthly Forecasts and Targets, and Financial Reports.  These efforts will require solid communication skills, strong inter-personal skills, and an attention to details.

Understand, track, and forecast the key cost drivers and market factors for assigned commodities.  

Provide cost-benefit/analytical support for Procurement programs.

Partner with other team members, understand programs, share business/process knowledge, and instill financial literacy. 

Support the internal control environment.   Complete SOX testing, act as a liaison to Internal Audit, and participate on process improvement initiatives. 

Develop and maintain a focused Procurement performance reporting process/system to track and monitor effectiveness.  This role is required to interact and provide leadership to all levels of organization.  The Director must demonstrate excellent attention to detail.

Provide thought leadership around process standardization and tools to support the Procurement planning functions.  

This role will require the pioneering of tools that promote process standardization and measurement within the department. 

Due to the challenging nature of attaining data, the candidate must be able to effectively overcome roadblocks and ensure the highest integrity in the data and tools provided. 

In addition to developing the tools, the Director will provide training and on-going support to other team members.

Lead effort of annual standard setting.

Establish cross-function teams and lead them through new initiatives, process changes, or develop team tools to provide value added information. 


Bachelor's degree in Finance or another business-related field required

C.P.A. or Master's degree with concentration in business administration, accounting or supply chain preferred


Minimum Required:

10 or more years in an analytical role supporting a business function.

5 or more years leading projects/cross-functional teams.

People leadership experience

Business Process/Knowledge

Technical Analytical/Decision Support Capability

Advanced-level MS Excel experience

Preferred Level:

Collaboration and business partnership experience.

SAP Experience

Ability to navigate the business system to achieve aggressive savings targets.

Month end accounting experience.

Experience with A/P, accounting and financial analysis.

Experience with Procurement.

Experience working in a self-motivated or entrepreneurial capacity.

Influencing skills, people management skills and collaboration skills.

Ability to interact and influence Senior Leaders inside and outside the company.


CCNA Applications, SAP P08, Advanced Microsoft Office skills
