In case \u201cquote\u201d is decided: nominatethe tendering engineer (TE) to proceed with bidding process and handle the RFQ's  \u2022 Check, revise and validate the complete technical\/commercial offer in the standard presentation format which is prepared by TE  \u2022 Utilize the corporate tools to record, receive relevant approvals and get the dashboard data needed for performance management and improvement. Monitor and review the performance of the team through the required preassigned KPIs  \u2022 Insure the process capability of tendering by properly managing quotations (prices, contractual conditions and conso. gross margin). \u2022 Develop, update and improve quotation tools in coordination with Tendering team members and IT\u2019s Team Leader.  \u2022 Implement and manage tools and process for price calculation as per company guidelines and procedures. \u2022 Support and supervise his team to prepare contract review and participate in Project Launch. \u2022 Assess within the team the tools, methods and competencies and propose all necessary improvements and changes.  \u2022 Lead and Support his team to optimize the Gross Margin  \u2022 Plan, prepare and Manage monthly bidding activities review with sales, finance & top management \u2022 Support his team to prepare all documents necessary for the follow up of projects activities (reports, planning and management of information etc.) \u2022 Responsible for assessing the tools, methods and people competencies and propose all necessary improvements and changes \u2022 Provide feedback to relevant departments on points of improvement and post-mortem analysis The TM manages the tendering team and insures the bidding activity, the Offer\/Bid fulfillment supervision and leads the tendering department organization. He\/She defines the objectives dedicated to each Offer\/bid manager, manages the performance of the tendering team, set up reviews. He\/She strictly refers to the mandatory principle of the Quality System but he\/she is able to stay \agile\ and define the adequate Plan, participates to the approval process and reporting to the solution center management. KPI for the tendering manager will be based on the performance of the team:  \u2022 Bidding activity and turn over for quotes \u2022 Hit rate ratio \u2022 Delivery and proposal on time and quality \u2022 People competencies and performances, motivation \u2022 Margins and contractual terms compliance \u2022 Reporting\/reviews\/planning \u2022 Customer satisfaction                                Qualifications   This job might be for you if:         Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and\/or Automation Engineering    PMP certification is a definite plus.   Experience in large O&G projects- Medium size projects -5M\u20ac. Medium complexity, category B Projects with regional content and multi country sourcing in a single region for engineering and delivery of equipment and services   Exposed to the entire O&G value chain \u2022 Extended exposure to at least one sub-segment (Upstream, Midstream, Downstream) of the O&G value chain through supply of equipment and services, projects and solutions. More than 5 years experience in that sub segment or those sub-segments.   Multi-discipline projects, multicultural environment \u2022 Multi-domain projects, electrical\/automation\/telecom\/mechanical\/civil works. Variety of geographies for third party and suppliers. Sourcing of services\/equipment international. Documentation and email exchanges in not necessarily native language. Project management and delivery at different location.   HSE and Quality compliance \u2022 HSE and Quality awareness.   Regulations, norms, certifications\u2022 Certification for critical site access, authorizations, permits   Customer procedures knowledge \u2022 Extensive experience in dealing directly with customer both in the project execution and site services. Good knowledge of customer tools and procedure for tests and qualifications of equipment\/solutions. Have worked in different geographies, with different clients and different procedures.   Experience on Customer Procurement platform. Extensive exposure to customer procurement bidding processes and electronic bidding mechanisms. Used to work with electronic documents for customer specifications, contractual, commercial, technical documents. Experienced in electronic handling and procedures for document processing, approval, submittals.
