The company designs, produces and showcases custom made product including indoor and outdoor furniture, lighting, rugs, textiles and leathers.\u00a0 PURPOSE OF THE JOB The Procurement Manager is responsible for leading a team of Purchasers, who manage the processes from Purchase Order Creation to Product Completion. The manager is responsible for setting the direction and developing the team to achieve procurement goals of HOLLY HUNT, while maintaining full sensibility to the expectations of the HH clients. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Manage the Purchasing team to optimize quality, cost, and supply. Develop the team to improve their effectiveness in achieving business goals. Lead key department activities by facilitating team meetings, project reviews, monthly operations reviews, and supplier score card reviews. Lead activities in the development of a strategic supply base to support the company\u2019s objectives. Lead the implementation of strategic plans to: Select supply base, including new product development (pricing, supplier selection, MOQ\u2019s etc.), product changes and resourcing of suppliers.Negotiate and approve supplier contractual agreements.Manage supplier relationships, including leading business reviews, monthly scorecard reviews and quarterly strategic meetings.Develop supplier performance, including supplier metrics.Implement efficient fulfillment and supply processes. Gain stakeholder buy in for key procurement initiatives by working with cross functional HOLLY HUNT business leaders. Participate in S&OP meetings Lead activities in the development of annual financial savings and measure performance to individual goals. Continuously generate cost savings ideas to support the financial PlanUtilize project management skills to achieve cost savings and support strategic planning initiatives. Required Skills Experience in the following Areas: Educational Requirements BS\/BA Degree or equivalent experience 5-10 Years of Procurement experience, manufacturing and luxury goods background a plus. Strategic Planning : Experience setting strategic vision and carrying out that plan to create a best in Procurement. Process Improvement : Experience implementing process improvements that drive efficiencies throughout the company.
