Job Description A company is looking for a Director of Corporate Parts Procurement t in the Jacksonville, FL area:
-Responsible for aligning and driving the strategic and operational initiatives for a national parts procurement and distribution network
-\tManage day-to-day P&L for $18M parts division
-\tFostering relationships with suppliers, corporate client accounts and regional parts personnel and will lead the development and integration to an online procurement\/e-commerce system
-\tOversee and develop web based content that supports key deliverables and customer needs \u2013 Web based programs will include parts ordering and fulfillment
-\tWill be tasked with developing\/re-defining the parts procurement process
-\tDevelop and implement logistic cost savings by analyzing supply, demand and tracking spend
-\tEnsure continuous improvement processes, modify existing procedures, minimizing costs, increasing accuracy and improving customer service
-\tPartner with vendors and administer downstream supplier agreements and upstream client contracts insuring cost targets are achieved
-\tNegotiating and re-negotiating agreements for volume parts\/discounts
-\tProvide leadership and support to team of 14 (3 Direct Reports) across multiple time zones
-\tProvide decision support and business insight to executive leadership team Job Requirements -\t10 years of proven experience in supply chain, procurement and or relevant functions
-\tProven success in process improvement\/implementation
-\tKnowledge of contract negotiation process and general contractual terms - Experience negotiating contracts both upstream (clients) and downstream (vendors)
-\tOutstanding analytical skills and exceptional communication\/interpersonal skills
-\tManufacturing\/production environment experience
-\tSolid analytical capabilities \u2013 able to identify market trends, seasonality & promotional impact
-\tExperience identifying and implementing an e-commerce platform
-\tExperience utilizing large scale ERP\/MRP system (JDE preferred)
-\tAbility to travel as needed (generally 1-2 days at a time) Optional Requirements -\tAmmonia refrigeration experience
-\tRefrigeration industry experience
-\tExperience utilizing and supporting JDE
-\tAutomotive Industry, Utility Industry, Construction, Grocery\/Food Manufacturing Industry experience
