Then we have a position for you.n nNoblis is seeking an Junior Procurement Specialist to assist with the development, management, and execution of government acquisitions and contracts. For this opportunity, we are supporting the government with their acquisition of information technology services and support. Responsibilities include market analysis; technical writing; drafting statements of work; supporting RFP activities; evaluating vendor compliance and documenting source selection decisions. In addition, successful candidates will conduct on-going program activities including processing contract modifications, and analyzing cost saving. As part of a Noblis team, candidates will work closely with government clients to understand current issues and challenges, implement practical and effective solutions, and assist with acquisition management of those solutions, typically working u201con the government side of the tableu201d as an unbiased, trusted partner. Acquisitions may vary from single-award to multi-award Basic Ordering Agreements.nn Working with general instruction, apply Noblisu2019 principles, concepts, processes, tools and methodologies to solve real-world problems in a team environment. n Develop and apply knowledge of acquisition practices and regulations to the competitive best value procurement of information technology services and hardware.n Prepare and/or contribute to technical reports, memos, analyses and briefings. Plan and manage assigned deliverables.n Knowledge of federal procurement and contract management activities is a plus.n Support meetings, inter-team communication, and issue resolution with the client and internal/project stakeholder groups.n Proficiency with Microsoft Office software: Word, Excel, Accessn Work closely and collaboratively with Noblis and customer team leads and members.n Knowledge of information technologies is a plus. nn nQualificationsnQualifications:nn A Bacheloru2019s degree in a business or technical discipline preferred.n Knowledge of one or more relevant technical subject areas such as software development, hardware and/or support services is preferred.n 1-5 years of relevant work experience.n Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills. Strong writing skills preferred.n Proven results-oriented problem solving abilities. Facility with presentation graphics and/or spreadsheet tools highly desirable.n Ability to work in a dynamic team-oriented environment, demonstrate teamwork and initiative, and function productively in the face of new assignments and the re-prioritization of existing assignments.n Familiarity with relevant Federal technology issues, policies, regulations or practices is highly desirable.
