Position Summary: 
The Senior Director of Strategic Procurement will oversee sourcing and negotiation of hardware, software, and services supporting the Enterprise business. Key responsibilities include development of sourcing & procurement strategies, vendor management, and analysis & negotiation of client service level agreements and contracts.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The Senior Director of Strategic Procurement will lead the creation and implementation of company-wide Sourcing & Procurement strategies and measure & track spend analytics to meet sourcing requirements.
Acting as a business partner, the Sr. Director will be responsible for analysis and overall spend of major contracts of key clients.
Work as a liaison in support of Carousel\u2019s Sales and Engineering Teams.
Work closely with Carousel\u2019s Top 700 clients on Enterprise licensing agreements and develop financial models to support the process of moving from on-premise calling solutions to hybrid & Cloud.
Lead cross-functional vendor management initiatives to drive improvement in overall performance and pricing by negotiating contracts and agreements with existing and potential vendors.
Formally monitor vendor performance.
Review major contracts for key areas of spend, and act as an expert resource for planning, procurement and complex negotiations.
Partner with other senior leadership to ensure organizational goals are met.
Develop and effectively present status updates and vendor account performance to the Senior Leadership Team.


7 years experience managing strategic IT relationships, projects and negotiations required
Experience working directly for technology software and services providers in a consulting, project management, contract management and relationship management capacity a plus.
Experience working closely with Enterprise & complex Commercial accounts and segments.
4 year degree from an accredited College or University with a focus on Business.
Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) or Certified Public Purchasing Officer (CPPO) preferred.
Deep understanding of the technology market landscape, vendor business practices, sales and marketing strategies
Ability to independently conduct business negotiations with senior leadership teams within Technology vendor environments.
Ability to assess and mitigate risk from a company, project, business, financial and contractual perspective.
Must be a self-starter and detail oriented.
Must possess good reasoning, analytical, and mathematical skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills with significant experience being in front of clients and presenting information.
Must possess business acumen, strategic thinking and planning abilities
