Role: Procurement Business Analyst

The Services workforce is made up of four groups: Client Operations, Project Based, Delivery Centers and BPO Businesses. Most of our people in Services are based long-term at a client location, an Accenture Delivery Center or, in some cases, an Accenture office.
Support our Procurement Operations' service enablement activities working as a business analyst supporting process design and related software application deployments. The procurement software implementation business analyst may be involved in Operations' sales opportunities and technology implementations for clients providing guidance on application configuration support and relevant process requirements.
This role will be focused in the traditional upstream areas of source to pay procurement processes, specifically spend analytics, sourcing and category management, supplier management and contracts. Technology deployment work may include Accenture specific applications as well as third party procurement applications such as Ariba and Coupa.
Develop in-depth knowledge of Accenture procurement tools and offerings Support sales opportunities by leading product overviews and demonstrations Work as part of technology implementation teams to capture client business requirements and processes Provide expertise in procurement application configuration and use Create detailed functional specifications Support client user testing and training Engage with broader Accenture Procurement team to understand and align to overall Operations' strategy and capabilities
2 years of experience gathering input and providing client demonstrations, presentations or equivalent (e.g. business case competitions) 2 years of experience with procurement platforms (e.g. Ariba or Coupa) and analytics tools 2 years of experience in configuring and deploying technology tools
Bachelor's degree with 2 years of experience in procurement (source to pay) applications or Master's degree with specific industry focus in procurement or supply chain
Preferred Skill Requirements:
Strong process analysis and requirement gathering skills Ability to learn new business processes, and software applications quickly Strong empathy in understanding client expectations, needs and requirements and converting those into technical solutions Strong communication and presentation skills and experience in communication at executive level Effective client-facing type of experiences, including interviewing, information gathering, presentations, demonstrations, etc. Strong team player with drive to learn Fluent in English
Travel requirements may vary from project to project and type of assignment. For example, some client and other travel may be required (approximately 50% average through the year with a degree of unpredictability) for client technology implementation projects.
